Resolving HTC Desire series rebooting problem.

Today I faced automatic rebooting problem with my HTC phone and It was really feeling bad as I purchased it only few months back... But anyways I dialed the HTC helpline and asked for help..
They told me for following steps:

1. Shut down the phone (take out battery, else it will reboot again)
2. Take out SD card from phone.
3. Put back the battery and put the back cover back.
4. Now press the volume down button, and keep it pressed and press power button once.
5. This will take you to a service window with four options, you can navigate this menu using volume up and down key.
6. select the factory reset button using volume down key
7. Hit power button for once and your phone will get reset to default settings. 

         The problem with this method is that you will loose your numbers and SMS. But This save your lot of time to go and find some service center.
              If you feel your data is very important, better you go to some service center for phone backup and they will do same procedure for you..
